What services do you provide?
While we pride ourselves on personalized project management, we primarily offer custom digital video editing services for family home video and slideshows. As an compliment to this service, we provide image scanning, image retouching, digital capture, animation, titles, background music, DVD authoring, DVD reproduction, Posting of files on selected sites, personal interviews and on-site recording.
How can you deliver my project?
We create the final "edited digital Master", save it as a common file format [ie. mpeg, avi, mov, etc] and then output it for display on your Computer, Television, YouTube account or Digital Picture Frame. Each sold separately.

The most common request is for us to create a DVD. DVD technology is a reliable form of storage for video and pictures. It also makes for a nice display since we create a handsome DVD case to show off your family video collection.

Duplicates are always available and can be shipped direct from us to any worldwide location. Final edited digital files and all source materials are provided on disk as well.
How long will it take?
Projects vary in length and time since each is custom to the client. We also can not anticipate how organized each client may be or how quickly they respond to requests for materials.

That being said, an average 10 min Digital Heirloom project ranges from two to three days depending on scheduling availability.
What do you do with my originals?
Original pictures, video tape, digital cards, and all other elements provided to us will be returned in the same shape or better than it was received. All items are stored in sealed containers to protect them from moisture and dust. We do not recommend sending photo albums since they are heavy to ship and can be damaged when pictures are removed.

If you prefer to scan your own images to save on conversion costs, contact us for the best settings.
Will you come to our house to pick up materials?

If you live within 20 miles of Cold Spring, NY, we can pick up your photos and videos at no additional charge. Outside of that area, we will charge a small fee to cover gas and tolls.

You can always opt to drop by our studio by appointment to review project materials.

Remote video capture services can be provided for personal client interviews and are quoted on an individual basis. We do not provide wedding or other event videography services but can put you in contact with those resources.

How much will this all cost?
We charge a base rate for each 10 minute package [$299 for a Digital Photo Heirloom, $499 for a Digital Video Heirloom] and add fees based on requested features and services.
Costs can increase if more editing time is required [ie. videos longer than 10min], if you require us to scan or convert photos, film, video or other printed material into a digital format and how much project management time is needed.
What type of payments do you accept?

The initial package fee is charged using our secure PayPal account to process all online transactions using credit cards. We also accept personal checks and money orders, though they require time to clear before work can commence.

Where are you located?

All conversion and editing is handled in our multimedia studio in Upper Westchester, NY. We are located in a historic brownstone that was part of the original Crayola Crayon factory on Central Avenue in Peekskill.

What tpe of quality can I expect?

While we do not provide broadcast quality output, our prosumer video editing equipment and software applications are top of the line. Since the materials we use are your personal photos, film and video, the original quality of those items will affect the final project quality. We make every effort to improve and retouch images to deliver the best possible output.
